As part of our dedication to Social Responsibility, we want to empower our colleagues to get involved with activities that will not only benefit their own health, but aid others whilst doing so.

After becoming an Employee Owned Trust, ensuring that every employee after 12 months owns a share in the business. This significant transition marked a new chapter in our company’s history, reinforcing our commitment to valuing and empowering our dedicated team. Central to this ethos is our Employee Council, We Matter, who ensure that every voice with our business is heard, fostering a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and shared purpose.

Over our 180 employee wide growing workforce, our colleagues are represented by their colleague council which is constantly arranging various charity and in the community events for our staff to get involved in.

Take a look below to see what we have been up to…

Charity Rowathon 2024

As part of our Heart of Life is Health initiative, this month we hosted a Charity Rowathon, for Prostate Cancer UK, organised by our employee council We Matter. Our reception was kitted out with rowing machines, and industrial fans, for the use during our 8 hour competition between our Senior Leadership Team, We Matter, and Team Pennine.

Pennine Spring Clean 2024

The annual spring clean, organised by our We Matter team, is held every year where our colleagues take a meaningful break from their computers and operations facilities, to help remove waste from the streets of Derby.

International Women’s Day

For our colleagues, we celebrated a day early and, as an act of gratitude for our colleagues’ hard work, we put together a mini care package for all women across the company.
