Halloween brought plenty of fun, creativity and community spirit to Pennine Healthcare this year! From fantastic costumes and delicious homemade bakes to fundraising activities and donations for our local food bank, colleagues here at Pennine Healthcare came together to celebrate Halloween while making a positive difference in the community.
Everyone at Pennine was invited to take part in the activities, with something for everyone to enjoy. Whether getting creative for our children’s Halloween colouring competition, testing their guessing skills, showcasing their costumes or contributing to our charity initiatives, colleagues helped make this year’s celebrations a memorable occasion.
Our children’s Halloween colouring competition gave families the opportunity to get creative and show off their artistic talents. It was wonderful to see the Halloween spirit extend beyond the workplace, with younger family members getting involved in the celebrations.
Back at Pennine, our best-dressed costume competition brought plenty of Halloween creativity to the workplace. Colleagues were encouraged to dress up and take part, with some fantastic costumes making it a difficult decision!
Congratulations to Gintare Cunningham, who took home the title of best dressed with her brilliant Cruella/Estella-inspired costume. Her outfit was a fantastic addition to the Halloween celebrations!
One of our most popular activities challenged colleagues to guess how many sweets were hidden inside a jar. With a tempting prize up for grabs, everyone had the chance to put their guessing skills to the test while contributing to a good cause.
Congratulations to Jessie Nurse, who correctly won our guess-the-sweets competition and took home the jar containing an impressive 275 sweets!
The competition was a fun way to bring colleagues together while raising money for charity, with every contribution helping to support a worthwhile cause.
Our Halloween celebrations wouldn’t have been complete without a little friendly competition in the kitchen! Our Halloween bake-off invited colleagues to showcase their baking skills, with a fantastic selection of Halloween-themed treats on display.
Alongside the competition, we held a bake sale, giving colleagues the opportunity to enjoy some homemade goodies while supporting our fundraising efforts. From spooky decorations to delicious bakes, the event brought plenty of Halloween flavour to the workplace.
Most importantly, the bake sale helped contribute to our fundraising total, demonstrating how small contributions can come together to make a meaningful difference.
Halloween is often associated with collecting treats, but at Pennine, we wanted to turn the tradition around and focus on giving back.
Through our reverse trick-or-treating initiative, colleagues were invited to donate food and toiletries to support our local food bank. Instead of collecting sweets, we encouraged everyone to contribute essential items that could help individuals and families within our local community.
The initiative was a simple but meaningful way to support people who may be facing difficult circumstances and highlighted the importance of looking out for others.
At Pennine Healthcare, our purpose goes beyond the products we make. Protecting Life. Empowering Colleagues. Enriching Communities. is at the heart of everything we do, and moments like Halloween are a great reminder of what makes Pennine special.
From bringing colleagues together through Halloween activities and fundraising to supporting our local community through our food bank collection, these small acts make a real difference.
It’s all part of creating a workplace where people feel connected, supported and proud to make a positive impact, both inside and outside of Pennine.
We were delighted to partner with Derek’s Tree Charity as part of our Halloween fundraising activities. Supporting charitable causes and giving back to our community are important ways we can make a positive difference beyond the workplace.
Thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of our colleagues, our Halloween activities raised over £180 for charity. This fantastic achievement reflects the willingness of our team to come together, have fun and support a worthwhile cause.
We would like to thank everyone who took part, donated, baked, entered a competition or helped organise the activities. Every contribution played a part in making the celebrations a success.
At Pennine Healthcare, our colleagues are at the heart of everything we do. Events like these provide an opportunity to bring people together, enjoy time as a team and support the communities around us.
This Halloween demonstrated how a little creativity, friendly competition and generosity can go a long way. From the fantastic costumes and colourful artwork to the delicious bakes and charitable donations, everyone who got involved helped make the celebrations special.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated and helped make Halloween at Pennine Healthcare such a success. We are proud of the team spirit shown throughout the celebrations and look forward to more opportunities to come together, have fun and make a difference.
From all of us at Pennine Healthcare, thank you for making this Halloween one to remember!
