Over the past year, colleagues across Pennine came together for a series of fundraising activities in support of our Charity of the Year, Safe and Sound. Thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity across the business, we are proud to share that we raised an incredible £1,627, comfortably exceeding our original £1,000 target.
This achievement reflects the strong community spirit we value so much at Pennine. From our company Rowathon to a Halloween bake sale, Christmas raffle and several colleague-led initiatives throughout the year, it has been fantastic to see teams getting involved, supporting one another and raising funds for an important cause.
Safe and Sound support children and young people across Derbyshire who are affected by exploitation, providing specialist intervention, prevention services and long-term support. Their work closely aligns with our purpose of Protecting Life and Enriching Communities, which makes our partnership especially meaningful.
This milestone would not have been possible without the colleagues who organised events, took part and donated throughout the year. Every activity helped raise vital funds while bringing people together across the organisation.

The funds raised will directly support Safe and Sound’s ongoing work helping vulnerable young people build safer futures. We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved together and grateful for the compassion and commitment shown across the business.
