It’s been a busy couple of months at Pennine Healthcare for all, none more so than our Marketing Team who have been working hard behind the scenes on our new Purpose Statement, Values & Behaviours, and Our Pennine Way. We want our Purpose to be at the heart of everything that we do, whilst our Values & Behaviours will be embedded throughout the business. Our Pennine Way is a culmination of our values, behaviours, and purpose, that guides our decision making and challenges us to put our customers, employees, and local community first.

To help celebrate the launch, we held an all-day event on Wednesday 1st December 2021. The format of the day saw every member of staff invited to our Training Room, to be greeted by our CEO, Graeme Cameron, and the Marketing Team. Videos were showcased, featuring staff from the different departments here at Pennine talking about Purpose and Values, alongside cakes and refreshments. Each member of staff was also gifted a “Colleague Pack” – containing branded water bottle, mug, notepad, pen, and lanyard – to help positively reinforce our new messaging, and to thank them for their hard work.

Graeme had this to say: “Since joining Pennine Healthcare I could not be more proud of every single one of my colleagues and their desire to place improving life at the heart of everything that we do. Communities across the world have been so impacted by Covid over the last 21 months and we feel that launching Our Purpose and Our Pennine Way is our small contribution to living and operating in a manner that can have a positive impact on our customers, colleagues and communities.

We’re glad to report that the launch was a great success, and you can view a recap video of the day itself, below. Our attention now turns to living and breathing our values and behaviours every day.
